'Make-A-Difference' Leadership Retreat 2024 @ AVG

Make~A~Difference Retreat @AVG

Inspiration happens naturally in environments that foster reflective work, along with plenty of personal space. This was our first Official GVLP Board retreat at AVG, though we have had a 10 year history at AVG for Games for Seva design work! Asvin Ranganathan and Saniya Gaitonde attended the Memorial Weekend Retreat, imbibed the teachings from Swami Viditatmananda on 'Kathopanishad', and gave back to the community by teaching and playing our featured game, 'Chariots of Fate' ! A game deeply developed and fine tuned at AVG!

'How to Play Chariots of Fate' - The Speedy Lesson

An amazing teacher Swami Viditatmananda, learning so intently from Asvin Ranganathan on how to play 'Chariots of Fate', a game inspired by Kathopanishad! A game that pits you with Challenges, Obstacles and Meditations to steer your Chariot to win the Race! Ever grateful to Suddhatma Chaitanya for helping us setup. Pujya Swamiji Dayananda Saraswati's spirit of love, kindness and play, amidst the deepest of scholarship, shines so very brightly at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam.

It takes a village to nurture and grow a vision of contribution to the community. A shout out to our youth for showing up and giving their time and talents - Naren Ranganathan, Vishwa Vasudevan, Aryan Rishi, Shreya Vasudevan, Dylan Benedictus!

Something magical about being @arshavidyagurukulam, talking and playing ‘Chariots of Fate, meeting old friends, listening to the amazing teachings on Kathopanishad, eating great food, walking the grounds, remembering the profound impact of Pujya Swamiji on so many folks, and just wondering how 34 years just slipped by so fast. Just stopping for a moment to observe the circle of life, and deep gratitude for our loving team for patiently selling our games. Thanks to Vijaya Nyayapathi, Sujini Govindarajan, Vasanth Ranganathan, Pranav Krishnamurthy, Jesse Benedictus & Paul Benedictus! We missed the forever presence of Madhu Allu who was there in spirit, making sure the process was smooth!
