Young Game Designers on Ganga~River Rescue - The GAME!

Updated: Mar 11, 2021

On Strategy & Fun

Aaria: The reason why the game is so fun is because as you get into the game it gets competitive. The more goal cards you get the more points and the greater the chance of winning. I really hope you enjoy the long trip around nature

Aarthi: Each river card is different as there are different famous women that have helped India in good ways. These women are on the backs of the cards. This game addresses many world-wide problems

Anoushka: It's incredibly addictive, fun for everyone, and leads to some really interesting conversations. While it may seem difficult at first, the game is learned quickly and is a source of quick entertainment with friends and family. I’ve learned a lot about our Earth from the game, and I'm sure you will too

Ashka: Even though it is educational, it is still super fun and I absolutely love playing this game with my family and friends. Ganga River Rescue is an amazing representation of the world we live in and what we can do to fix it

Jash: Ganga river also is very fun because of the competition and the game can cause some competitive family arguments. This game is honestly perfect for spending some quality time with friends and cousins and you are also being educated at the same time

Jay Shah: Ganga river also is very fun because of the competition and the game can cause some competitive family arguments. This game is honestly perfect for spending some quality time with friends and cousins and you are also being educated at the same time

Samy: All in all, this game may seem challenging at first but once you get the hang of it, you won’t be able to stop playing the game. I hope you give this game a chance with family and loved ones

Shreya V: Now it may look intimidating once you open the box to see numerous decks of cards but I can promise you that anyone can pick it up. Furthermore, to actually win the game you would need to build a strong and successful chain of cards to allow your river to prosper. The person who has devised a well-structured chain and has the most amount of points wins

On Environmental Impact

Adi: Games are a way to bond together and celebrate. Ganga~River Rescue is just one of the games we had made, and it centers mostly around climate change. It talks about the impact that we have on Earth, and how we, humans, are polluting the environment. After all, we only have one living planet. We have no planet B

Dhanya: This game is satisfying in a strange way. If you have an enormous collection of cards, take a look at it from a farther away distance. Collecting these cards, makes you realize that our ecosystem is beautiful and extraordinary. Our ecosystem is vast and it needs rivers and bodies of water to survive. Every living thing needs a source to survive

Durva: It enables us to understand that environmental issues can be tackled through hard work and coming together as a community to make a difference

Jay S: This game is all about India, building an ecosystem, balancing it with natural disasters and trying to get goal cards so whoever gets the most points wins the ecosystem game

Manu: This game is a blast to play with family, along with holding a very valuable message. Us humans damage the Earth day by day, with various pollution methods. Ganga~River Rescue displays the diversity of this Earth with many different types of animals and plants

Sanjana: The message of the game is "You can make a difference by being aware of the causes of river pollution and the consequences of not taking positive actions." This is very powerful and impactful

Shreya K: This is a great way to explore how India's ecosystem blooms by the start of life , a river and how living species are affected by each other. If you wanna go with the flow, Get you Ganga on !

Sonika: I have played the game and I have personally taught myself a lot about how one polluted body of water can really ruin everything that depends on it and it was a really fun game to play. I think it’s a great game for people who care about the environment

Yana: A player cannot win Ganga~River Rescue without a good strategy, which makes it an AMAZING game for competitive players. I am passionate about this game because it illustrates the importance of aspects of the ecosystem and how they each affect the survival of other organisms . Without a single species, the entire ecosystem can collapse
